What surfaces can the thresholds be installed on?Updated a year ago

Our garage door thresholds are suitable to install on most solid, non-porous surfaces. This includes concrete, epoxy, paved, and asphalt/tarmac surfaces.

The floor should be in good condition prior to installation.

The threshold seals are not suitable for installation on loose concrete or gravel.

In the case of concrete, this should ideally be sealed prior to installation. If the concrete has a chalky or powdery top surface then the adhesive & sealant will be unable to properly adhere and create a watertight seal.

If the floor has an epoxy coating, please rough the surface up using a 40-60 grit sandpaper and remove all dust, then install.
